Eat This Sushi?!

Sushi is incredibly popular in Southern California. I personally know few people who won’t try it, or don’t love it. But, after visiting the premier of Huell Howser California’s Gold exhibit at Chapman University in Orange yesterday, I have to admit the sushi pictured in the gallery below is some I won’t try! Because it’s made of dryer lint! The artist, Slater Barron, also known as The Lint Lady, had been featured on one of Huell Howser’s California’s Gold shows.Huell Howser California's GoldFor those not familiar with Huell Howser, who passed away January 7, 2013, he had a show on public television station KCET for over 20 years, featuring people and places in California. So, while I won’t be eating this sushi, I’m quite in awe of anyone making such beautiful art out of dryer lint! ~SueBee (photos by SueBee)
