Most imagine Southern California as land of the car, which it is, without a doubt. Places are spread out, public transportation isn’t sufficient for the large number of residents or geography, and people like convenience. But, there are places where the bike rules. On the campus of University of Southern California, a large, flat, beautiful campus, bicyclists rule the road. I took this photo on a recent visit to see my son who works there. I was amused imagining myself in a hurry, rushing to grab my bike and get to the next class, only to find it surrounded by a few dozen more bikes in the meantime, all looking just like mine! ~SueBee (photo by SueBee)
