On the second floor of The Last Bookstore in downtown Los Angeles, is a labyrinth of rooms lined with bookshelves, which if followed along for a ways, will lead to the Fold Gallery and Curio Shop! It’s a fascinating place. The Fold Curio Shop, with a floor covered in copper pennies, to which you may contribute via a jar by the cash register,
is graciously attended by the owner and artist (pictured below).
As you wander along upstairs, you’ll find several galleries, other little art shops, and a yarn store that also offers classes. The upstairs at The Last Bookstore is a fun, interesting place, and a nice way to cap off your visit. Kat and I are always drawn to the creativity of artists, and thoroughly enjoy viewing their works. What a great find. We’ll be back soon! ~SueBee (photos by SueBee)
