As I left the office today, worn out from a long workweek, I decided on a drive to Balboa Island, the opposite direction of my home in Orange. I crossed the bridge to the island, parked my little truck, walked to the ferry, hopped on, paid the $1.00 fee, rode over to Newport Beach Peninsula, and meandered down to the beach. The air was wonderfully brisk, great cloud formations were in the sky, the salty smell of the ocean met me…. great decision, that was just the right medicine!

That’s a bit more on the chilly side! I last remember that temp when I lived in Northern Germany some years ago! Stay warm if you can!
