Our blog hasn’t featured a restaurant recommendation in ages, so it’s high time we do one again. This past Friday after work, and before the concert I would be attending, I treated myself to dinner at the Crab Cooker seafood restaurant in Newport Beach. My dad used to take our family there when I was a teenager, and I hadn’t been in years. The place still looked the same in person as in my memory, and the food was just as good. I parked on the street at a meter, paid $2.50 using my credit card (so convenient not needing to search for coins), and walked to the entrance, stopping to take a few photos with my iPhone. 
A glass of white wine joined the grilled, moist, delicious scallops and shrimp skewer I ordered. The cole slaw and rice pilaf side dishes were very tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and a very fine meal. I highly recommend the Crab Cooker! ~SueBee
