Today’s Foto Fix features a rather unique scene I came across in the Portland (Oregon) Rose Garden last weekend. It was an overcast, drizzly day (wonderfully refreshing for someone coming out of a drought stricken area). People were wandering the muddy paths with umbrellas overhead. I haven’t thought to bring one, and wouldn’t know where mine is quite honestly, so I ducked under trees every now and then. As I rounded a corner, this delightful scene greeted me. A lady and child were nearby, so I assumed this was their elaborate picnic, and continued on my way. ~SueBee

If you had stepped on that carpet, you would have been in Araby in an instant.
You know, I think you’re absolutely right!
