I decided to have a go at mixed media on canvas yesterday and arrived at this result. The start was my photo of the row boat printed onto flat finish paper, the rest was willy nilly… I had no plan, just layered as I went and arrived at this scene. Materials used: photo, dupioni silk, burlap, lace, silver netting fabric, cotton fabric, magazine scraps, fruit bag netting, acrylic paints, matte medium, fabric glue, mod podge. T’was fun! ~SueBee
