Photos feature the ever-beautiful Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge on an overcast day this past month. Growing up in the next town over, well before the separate cities of La Canada and Flintridge joined and incorporated, my mom took my brother and me there often. It looked and felt very much like our own yard, on a much, much grander scale. We loved the endless pathways through oaks and camellias; it was one of our favorite places to go and continues to be for me these days. ~SueBee
