Late yesterday afternoon the strong winds kicked up again… and later in the evening, Kat messaged asking if I smelled smoke. I went outside and discovered, yes, the air smelled of smoke. I checked all the various local news sites online and couldn’t find anything about wildfires having started. But, this morning brought news of two fires, one already raging in Lake Forest, a city tucked up against the hills about 15 miles south of Orange, and another smaller one out in the Corona area, about 25 miles to the east. I took pictures from my porch and kitchen window of the smoke blowing towards Orange from the Bond fire, the name they’re calling the one in Lake Forest. I’m so sad for all the people, and animals, living in the beautiful hills and canyons there. We need rain! We need people in charge who taken Climate Change seriously. Thank goodness that will happen after the Jan 20th inauguration. ~SueBee

Worrying times again.
Seems it’s been the year to worry.
Do stay safe ❤ It's sure been a rough few years for fires 😦
Thank you. Yes, the fires have been awful, all around the world.
