Refurbish for a New Look

My oldest daughter, Angelika, and I spent considerable time some months back refurbishing and restyling the showcase piece of my new SueBee shop. It’s now 100% unique and an eye catcher, in my humble opinion. From humdrum hutch to bold wine cabinet. Visit SueBee at Vintage California at 305 E. Grove Avenue in Orange to see (and purchase!). Pirate Ship Kite

The Foto Fix I’ve chosen for today was taken up California’s central coast, near Santa Cruz, during a trip I made up there in 2013. It features a really cool pirate ship kite being flown by the little boy’s daddy. It appeared to be a rather tricky kite to fly. ~SueBee

Roadside Farm

Today’s Foto Fix was taken last July when I took a short vacation to California’s Central Coast town of Cambria. The area just south of town is filled with rolling hills, farms and vineyards. It’s a very beautiful, restful place, unless you’re the one having to load all that firewood onto the pickup truck! ~SueBee

We camped at Borrego Palm Canyon Campground…an immaculate campground with drinking water, full bathrooms, and showers! The view surrounding our site was absolutely stunning, especially as the sun was rising! […]

As Nick’s website says: “Nick Metropolis has been buying, selling, renting and consigning collectible furniture, or “collectable” as Nick […]
