When I took a mini get-away to Palm Springs at the end of 2014, one of the places I found fascinating was Moorten’s Botanical Garden. I wrote about their world’s first Cactarium, and will now share scenes from their desert gardens. The afternoon was extremely pleasant, the temperatures on the cooler side (Southern California’s cool), and the vast array of cacti mind-boggling. It was easy to see the Moorten family’s dedication and love of the desert as they developed their gardens over the years. ~SueBee
