This gorgeous bird, which may be some sort of duck (?), was resting in the Japanese garden pond at the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens. I cropped the photo in very closely so you could see that his eyes nearly look like jewels! If anyone knows what sort of bird this is, please let me know. ~SueBee

Possibly a cormorant because of the hooked beak.
