We had a bit of rain here in Southern California this morning, sprinkles if you wish to be exact, but that, combined with cooler temps, makes me reminisce. I therefore dug into my older photos and came up with this rained-upon red rose. I took this picture in front of Hawk’s Head Tavern, Oak Glen, in 2013, while having lunch there with my mom. She loved Oak Glen. We had a marvelous time, eating corn chowder, gazing out the window at the changing leaves and overcast skies, exploring the area. ~SueBee
