In Southern California today, that expression was definitely true. It was far too beautiful to stay inside, so I hopped in the truck and ended up at the mountain town of Oak Glen. Now past apple season, the crowds were gone, the beauty remained. ~SueBee (photo by SueBee)

Thank you. Yes, it sure is a pretty place!
[ Smiles ] A very beautiful scenery indeed!

[ Smiles ] You are welcome, my friend!
Are the local apples good?
The ones I tried were literally the best ever – juicy, sweet and tart at the same time, crisp. Store bought seem like throw-aways after eating the ones from the mountain! ~SueBee
If you believed Australia’s media you would think all of America is freezing. Tasmania is known as the ‘Apple Isle’ and your photo looks familiar and beautiful.
Ha! The media – they crack me up. As to Tasmania, I had no idea. Really great learning more about our world thru blogging! Things we may never have known or thought to look up. Thx!!! ~SueBee
🙂
Certainly looks like a beautiful place to pick apples, but yes, an even prettier place to go after the crowds are gone.
Indeed!
