Upswept Braids

Chic, with her upswept braids,

print ribbons complimenting

the painting on the wall.

Its eyes upon her, captivated by her.

Furtive glances from the doorway…

nearly go unnoticed, art encapsulated.

A fleeting moment now dedicated,

and elegantly punctuated

by the diamond on her ear. ~SueBeeUpswept Braids
