Defiant Gull

A simple display of defiance is the subject of today’s Foto Fix, with a seagull demonstrating that keep off spikes attached to the sculpture were not intended for him! That he’s perched on the flying fish adds just a bit of irony as well. This photo was taken on the pier at Santa Monica Beach, near the carnival rides. I wonder now, in looking more closely at the sculpture, why spikes are only on the left side. I’ll allow my audience to ponder that throughout the day on this lovely TGIF (Thank God It’s Friday)! ~SueBee (photo by SueBee)Defiant Gull

It’s true. He knows where his dinner is… he’s standing on it!
